Taehyung looked like a thunderbolt hit him.
And Seokjin regretted ever saying those words.
“I - I - I - “ he stammered, mind furiously working to come up with a solution, a plausible excuse to save his face and to brush the stupidly brazen proposal, blurting out, “Forget what I said. I’m not - I didn’t mean to bring up gossip about you. I’m very sorry. That was bad of me.”
He stopped short in his stammering apology when Taehyung flashed him that brilliant smile again, teeth and wide mouth.
Except, this time, it looked much more decidedly mischievous, devilry in those curled lips.

Au where Taehyung, a Light one, escapes prison and runs all the way to the Dark realm, which was really just a quiet little village, to plead the master of all magic, Seokjin, to grant him new wings. But to melt the Dark one's cold glare, Taehyung weaves the whitest lie and grazes Seokjin's weakest spot.
