He stared at the papers in his hands, less surprised than he wished he was. He was sure that Iwaizumi wouldn’t actually want a divorce - it had to be some kind of mistake, a threat he had been sure Iwaizumi wasn’t serious about. Their marriage couldn’t be over, not when it had barely started. Yes, they had been married for five years, but the house that they bought together in Japan only had Iwaizumi lodging in it most of the year, and so they hadn’t even had a chance to make the house theirs yet. It couldn’t be over just like that.
