Ever since she’d almost died on that bridge, Jinx’s veins constantly burned with untapped energy. It hurt staying still; letting her body settle in one place for too long made her stomach churn, almost like she’d explode if she weren’t always on the move. The hardest part was not knowing if it was the near death experience or the shimmer poisoning her body that changed her so permanently. She just couldn’t stay still anymore.

The kid was going to die at this rate, whether or not Jason had anything to do with it. Apparently dead Robins were just a thing, now, and Bruce didn’t give a shit whether they lived or died.
There was something almost comforting about that, that Jason’s wasn’t the only life that didn’t matter.
