“Red,” crackled through the coms. Bakugou. Kirishima breathed again. In, and out. Weathering the storm. Bakugou was talking to him. “Don’t even think about responding to that, you better keep holding up this fucking building or I’ll crumple it on top of you myself.”
He was buying Kirishima time, listening to the other hero offered at least moments of reprieve. Bakugou had clocked everything about his situation, down to the fact that he couldn’t answer another question without losing his focus.
“What do you say you and me get some food after this, huh?” Sound once again sparked into his ear. He could hear the background noise of sirens, the slight chatter of maybe news reporters. “There’s this new place I’ve been wanting to check out.” Then, slightly quieter, as is Bakugou had shifted away from his com, “If Uravity doesn’t hurry the fuck up I’m blasting through. I’m not fucking joking Deku, I am about to bring this building down.”
Or, Kirishima gets stuck underneath a building. Bakugou comforts his Atlas.

When Kirishima opens his eyes, it takes him at least a minute to process what’s going on and what happened before. He’s lying on someone and he’s sure that someone must be Aizawa, and he can’t even register that he should maybe be embarrassed about that; lying his head on his teacher’s lap while he tries not to whine in pain and fails spectacularly.
Then he remembers the giant piece of falling rubble, because how could he forget the giant piece of falling rubble? Especially since it had hit him in the head.
"Kid, don't fall asleep. Don’t- you’re fine. Stop. You’re okay. Stay with me, not again, please-”
