“The Lady Tianquan has been acting… a little out of the ordinary, lately,” Ganyu tells her over tea and Wanmin’s boiled fish.
“Whaddya mean? Has she suddenly stopped being a pretentious little aristocrat or something?” Beidou asks, but her voice is warm from sun, beer, and fondness.
“Oh,” Ganyu says. “I’ve just… seen her working after hours less, that’s all. She’s usually busy past nightfall, but these past months she’s been leaving earlier. Around when she should be, really. Keqing should take note…” She trails off. “And I personally think she looks different, too, but that’s just my opinion.”

Keqing does her job. Or tries. Having a coworker that's insufferable and beautiful and also highly competent can be a challenge. Having the Lady of the Jade Chamber and fellow member of the Qixing be that coworker is probably more challenging. Having Ningguang be that coworker, who is also constantly butting heads with a pirate, well, Keqing doesn't get paid enough for that.
