The war's ending found Harry with a clear mind, free of all darkness from Voldemort. But that means that all darkness and anger that Harry experience right now was his own, and no one else's.
He tried to fulfill his duty, he tried to do his best, to take care of people before himself.
Yet, his only request that St.Mungo take care of Severus was brushed aside, like the man did not just die so they could win.

“If he survives this, I’ll make sure you people would never be able to step foot in the medical field, or any other field, ever again. And with all my might, I’ll have you serve a lifelong sentence in Azkaban for neglecting the treatment of the hero who had won us this war. If he doesn’t, I’ll burn this place into the ground… And I’ll personally ensure that you people never escape the fire.”

Summary
The war had ended and Sirius finds himself washed ashore in a world he was not ready for.
He was not ready for the war to be over- it had hardly just begun when he had fallen through the Veil.
He was not ready for his friends to be gone, died in battles he had never fought.
He was not ready for Snape to be seen as a hero, posthumously, in his godson's eyes.
But suspicions exist that Snape had not died in the war. Sent on the task to bring him back to face trial, Sirius relishes the opportunity to finally have focus- a mission of his own: bringing Snape to face justice for all his war time crimes.
There was no other reason for Sirius to be hunting Snape.
No other reason at all.
