Months pass after Kyojuro narrowly avoids death at the Mugen Train. Akaza still follows him around, talking and sparring like nothing is wrong, even after the incident at the shrine.
Akaza watches Kyojuro, and thinks and thinks and thinks a lot. Some things come to light when you think too deeply. And as more time passes that he's with Rengoku Kyojuro, after that incident at the shrine, something is definitely going wrong - and some memories, though they are hidden, cannot be destroyed for good.
A story about conversations, long-lost memories and a strange relationship between a demon and a slayer.

Summary
Akaza was late. Akaza was never late.
After Kyojuro narrowly avoids death at the Mugen Train, he finds that Akaza just can't seem to stop following him around. Somehow, it all leads to regular sparring at night, which sometimes leads to curious conversations afterwards. And Kyojuro, once something in Akaza catches his attention, simply can't seem to stop asking (stupid) questions.
