Fucking hell, Penelope whimpered internally. Why couldn’t it have been a murderer?
“Pen?” She shivered at the sound of her old nickname, trying to comprehend what was happening. She pulled her towel tighter, not that it really mattered anymore. He’s already seen her tits she realised miserably. Wonderful.
Penelope was hoping a weekend away in a country cottage would be what she needed to get over her horrendous writer’s block. But then Colin Bridgerton appears in the middle of the night, and everything goes to shit.
