“A cat,” Bucky says. He’s doing his best I'm not mad, just disappointed voice. Bob pouts a little deeper. “You brought a cat back to the tower.”

But ultimately, it is the love letter Bucky writes to himself, as he reclaims who he once was, discovers who he is now, builds a new life for himself and realizes he might, just might, be as strong, as beautiful, as precious as a pearl.
