Summary
At 28, Nick Nelson is living a life that should make him happy: he's got a good job, solid mates, and an on-again-off-again girlfriend he's known since secondary school. But for years, maybe as long as he can remember, he's felt like something was missing. Worse, he can't shake the nagging fear that he's the problem, that something might be wrong with him.
Charlie Spring is only 27, but he's already divorced, burnt out halfway through his masters degree, and his mental health is held together by twine and prayers. Summary
Nick is losing sleep. His housemate, Sai, is having frequent and objectionably loud sex with his new girlfriend in the room next door to Nick's.
Nick's other housemate, Charlie, proposes a plan so Sai will finally realise how loud he's being.
Charlie suggests he and Nick "fake fuck" in Nick's bedroom.
The plan goes awry when Nick starts to really...ahem...*enjoy* Charlie's fake sex noises.
And fake fucking soon turns into real fucking.
