He likes the idea of a beach vacation. The cool, crisp, slightly salty yet sweet ocean air, warm sandy shores where you can soak up enough sun to last a lifetime, and a vast view of the wide open waters so large it stretches across the curved horizon.
Hakuri loves the beach on paper. In practice he's never been a big fan.

Kaiser had pulled Alexis up from the ocean months ago—a struggling, writhing silhouette caught in the yacht’s net, tangled between kelp and bioluminescent shimmer. At first, he thought it was some kind of hallucination. Some storm born creature his brain invented to cope with too many nights alone at sea. But he had been real.
Alexis. With that mess of curling mauve hair drenched and clinging to his face, his lips parted in protest or seduction—Kaiser couldn’t tell. His skin iridescent in moonlight, with hues of violet and silver gliding over him like breath. And beneath his waist, the unmistakable glisten and twitch of tentacles.
Kaiser should’ve let him go, but he didn’t, and now Alexis was beneath him, again. His captured sea witch, his impossible ocean treasure, tangled in shimmering limbs and salted skin.
