Summary
"You look like a fuckin' wet rat."
Ian is drowning in white noise--the dull hum of lithium, the suffocating "care" of his family, and the constant, nagging presence of a certain Mickey Milkovich who has traded his switchblade for a bottle of vitamin B-complex.
When Sammi Slott fails to make the call that would have ended everything, the trajectory of Ian's life shifts. Instead of handcuffs and a desert border, there is a bloody fight on a baseball field, a surprisingly expensive steak at Sizzler's, and a choice to finally stop running.
A season 5/6/7 fix-it where the Gallagher house is a war zone, but for once, Ian and Mickey are on the same side of the front lines.
Or
What if Sammi had never called the MP's on Ian?

Summary
He hated it, he hated what the meds did to him. Except he didn’t, really, because he couldn’t feel hate anymore. Or love, or excitement, or hope, or heartbreak, or guilt. It didn’t feel right, it didn’t feel like him. He was afraid, if he could remember how to feel it.

Summary
Mickey Milkovich has always been good at pretending he’s fine.
Ian Gallagher doesn’t seem to believe him.
Mickey is fresh out of juvie and stuck working security at a shitty convenience store.
He keeps his head down, his music loud, and his walls higher.
Ian sees him anyway. He sees the beauty in his insecurities.
Mickey's life is falling apart faster than he can hold it together - bruises he won't explain, hunger he won't admit, panic he can't control.
But between late shifts, quiet nights, lingering touches and songs shared under open skies, something starts to change. Something softer. Something dangerous.
Because wanting to be loved means risking everything.
And Mickey has always known one thing -
if someone really sees him, they'll leave.
Ian doesn't.Bookmarked by gallav1ch

Summary
“That’s just what he knows to do— push everyone and everything away. He was never going to let himself actually have what he wanted; he doesn’t even allow himself to admit how badly he wants it in the first place. Maybe one day, he silently hopes. Maybe one day he'll give Ian everything he wants to give him, even though it scares the shit out of him.”
