“Gyuvin,” Hao blurted out as soon as the call went through, “I’m freaking out. I don’t know how to function around my hot roommate.”
“Oh, is that so?” came the response, and Hao immediately felt his stomach sinking deeper and deeper into a cesspool when he realized that it was Sung Hanbin on the other end of the line. To make matters worse, he could hear the smugness dripping off his words like honey. “That does sound like quite the predicament. How can I help?”

Summary
The mission was supposed to be easy.
A simple undercover mission, where all Zhang Hao had to do was retrieve five years worth of information, using Shen Quanrui's yearly gala for eligible bachelors and bachelorettes as the perfect cover. Even with Sung Hanbin's involvement, and his incessant need to make everything into a joke, including his job and other people's feelings, Zhang Hao figures as long as they just stick to the plan, they can manage it just fine. Maybe, with enough luck, he'll be home in time to feed his cat.
Easy peasy, right? They can manage to stick to the plan, right? Things won't go wrong, right?

No, Hanbin will always be the replacement in Hao’s life. The one he never wanted, the one who Hao would trade in a heartbeat if it meant he could have his actual partner back here by his side.
Try as he might, Hanbin can’t help the jealousy burning the back of his throat, no matter how many times he tries to swallow it back.

When Zhang Hao locks eyes with him — Hanbin, he knows now — he wonders if the man remembers him, if their conversation left even the tiniest of imprints on his brain the way it did on Zhang Hao’s.
To his surprise, Hanbin’s eyes instantly light up. “Pajama guy!” He exclaims, and Zhang Hao’s smile drops.
From then onwards, begins the story of Zhang Hao and Sung Hanbin.
