They didn't construct a pillow wall, they just went to bed on their own sides. Danhausen wondered out loud if he should send an angrily worded email to HR ("human repossession" as he called it) about somebody booking them into a room with only one bed together, but had eventually decided against it.

Hook and Danhausen are forced to share a bed in a hotel room. Oh, and they could be soul mates, too and they're definitely in a pretend relationship. Just tropes, all tropes, all the time.
