Sasuke put his hands on Naruto's shoulder and looked down at the shorter genin. The Uzumaki was continuously obnoxious and annoying, but the two of them had formed a bond over time, and the other genin was the closest thing that Sasuke had to a true friend…rival. A rival who could only improve his own skills if he kept up at a commensurate rate.
"Naruto," Sasuke said, looking steadily into Naruto's eyes and ignoring Sakura, who looked like she was going to spontaneously combust. "I want you to prank everyone and everything."
Naruto figures out that he was doing ninja things before he even became a ninja. The universe hits a little speedbump.
