(Set within the Underline the Black universe). Faber, an overworked beta with a major case of omega envy, meets alpha Caleb one evening in a bar in the little tourist town of Margaret River in Western Australia, after a day of stressing over a bushfire coming dangerously close to the facility where he works. On a whim, he decides to seduce and let himself be seduced by an alpha, only to realise he's definitely bitten off more than he can chew.

Summary
Grieving the loss of his junior-year accountability partner, top Emilio "Milo" Vitale swears he won't get attached to anyone new this year. That is, until he agrees to temporarily take a sophomore transfer student under his wing during RBU's 8-week summer research program.
Enter Finn Sutherland, a repressed bottom struggling to come to terms with who he is after moving away from his spanky-fundamentalist parents who raised him to believe being a brat is wrong.
Milo swears he won't get attached to another accountability partner. Finn swears he isn't a brat. Famous last words for both of them.
