For many years Geralt's been doing what he always does - roaming the continent, hunting monsters, gathering enough coin to survive on his own - without allowing himself to even remember how kind humans can be. Alone is what he’s had for ages, and never more than twice has someone made him seriously question any of it.
Then Jaskier came his way, and this new person coming into his life, with what looks like an intention to stay and curiosity to know more about him, makes him itch and consider possibilities he has never considered before.
