It was just a job, right? A job for a smuggler like him. A promise of riches in weapons, ration cards, a life of luxury that he could only dream of. And he had taken it, despite the warnings his mind had screamed. How this job could get him killed. That he smuggled objects, not people. Not some fifteen year old kid that wanted to run away from the power of the military.
But it was something Suguru Geto kept from him, the moment he was given this job. “Take the kid to the Jujutsu Sorcerers,” a group infamous for fighting against the claws of the enforcements.
And the reason why Geto wasn’t doing it himself, the bastard had gotten injured. A wound ripped through his stomach and out the other side, causing him to almost feel bad. The words that spilled through Geto’s mouth in an attempt to persuade the other made for some fair game manipulation. And to just get him to shut up, Nanami agreed. Only to the capitol building. It was as simple as that.

Or; The Last of Us AU no one asked for. Itadori is immune and Nanami is the one to bring him to the Jujutsu sorcerers (a weird name for a rebel group). The relationship in the beginning is tense, but things become real when the past is revealed.

Yet, sometimes fate isn't always on your side when you're working so hard for a shiny metal for your coach to kiss.
