He groaned loudly in frustration, rolling around in his bed. He had already cried for hours. He made sure to hide it from his mother, though. He couldn’t bear worrying her any more than he had these past months.
Izuku had met his hero, placed his hope into his hands, and watched it shatter. He felt like he was an outsider in his own body. He whimpered, diving further into the blankets he held. He couldn’t bear to look around his room, to face the thousands of dollars he had spent on a man he wished he had never met.
