Before she could go any further, Nancy caught her chin between her finger and her thumb and forced eye contact.
"Do not tease me, Robin," she said calmly. She wasn't even thinking of it. "I'm not easy, and I'd rather have you not start at all than quit on me later. Are we clear?"
Robin was staring at her in such absolute awe it took her a moment to remember to register the question.
"Absolutely. You have nothing to worry about with me."
