Summary
Elain is wasting away in the Night Court, and is well aware of it. Freed of the suffocating darkness of the Night Court and resigned to being fae, Elain demands Lucien show her this inescapable new world, intent on seeing the world for herself; not through the prophetic eyes of the Cauldron.
But being a seer is a valuable, rare thing—and unwanted interest in her abilities makes her a much-desired commodity across Prythian. And Lucien won’t lose yet another person he holds dear.

They had thought they had broken Vassa's spell and put a stop to Koschei's scheme, but they had been fooled. Koschei claimed his blood, Elain, exchanged for Vassa, so he can use the magic of the Blood Moon, during the next Winter Solstice, a few months away, to free himself from his prison. The HIgh Fae's forces on the Continent are also stirring and war is imminent.
Lucien is desperate to get his mate back, even if for that he will have to fight all of Prythian, and all the Continent, and an ancient god of death, to save Elain.

Amarantha’s reign has ended. But Hybern has just struck and it’s only afforded the fae a couple months of reprieve. All the courts unite to fight Hybern and the Cauldron but after Amarantha’s tyranny, this may not be enough to fight off the coming onslaught. Despite their agreement to fight together, banning together after years of division will prove a challenge. Feyre is coming to terms with the end of her human life. But she is being thrown into a war with powers that seem to be uncontrollable and Tamlin fears the repercussions of her new abilities. In a time of war, being weak isn’t an option she can afford.

This. Is just...the entire acotar series but like 2.0. It’s an entire rewrite. And it’s SO GOOD. Elucien, nessian, feysand development, all just so so good!! Every character is spot on and the plot is THICC in this one. Definitely recommend for impatient acotar fans who can’t wait for the canon books to come out and dictate what happens to our lovely characters (aka me)
