WJAT THE FUCK
i read this because of one tweet about tammy thompson and I've been slung into this beautiful, heart wrenching, and funny story. Seriously I've laughed so much, your sense if humor is incredible author lmao
but there were so many stunning moments where you're caught between the small space in mike and Will's tension, and you feel like you can't breathe between what's happening with them.
I followed the playlist the entire way through (and I'm so glad that I did, really there were some bangers), everything has been so well written and thought out. And!!! don't even get me started on the ending, with fake plastic trees. That's one if my favorite songs of all time, i got super worried about the readers note, but I'm so happy with how this has concluded and impressed with how you've directed that final chapter with the song- it really made me visualise this epic and romantic movie scene. This will be a work to remember, and goodness me, i cannot wait for part two. Xx -

Jon’s apartment smelt like overly rich coffee, maybe slightly overbrewed and tart, and a little bit like malignant mildew. Two things that shouldn’t have woven together to make Steve feel like he was at home, but he knew he would find himself missing the smell as soon as he got onto the plane home. It hopefully would linger in his nose as Jon clapped him on the back and sent him away at the end of his trip, and he would look at his face, the one he’d thrown his fist into with all the force he could handle when they were kids, and think about how much he would miss him. His apartment. The smell of his apartment.
