Prezhlek, a minotaur raised by his adoptive father to be the perfect Boros Legionnaire, was ready for a lifetime of keeping his head down and following the rules. Damas, an unaffiliated tiefling with a hazy past and an infuriating grin, follows no rules at all and never stops moving forward. As their unlikely alliance deepens into something more personal, Prezhlek will have to question whether the rules he's dedicated his life to following are worth the sacrifices they demand of him.
This story is set in the Ravnica campaign setting for Dungeons and Dragons 5e, with a slight homebrew flair. See end notes for more information.
