Summary
At some point, without their knowledge, things shifted between Hangman and Rooster. The old, burning animosity between them turned into something closer resembling a friendly rivalry. They’d try to get under each other’s skin, finding a comforting sense of familiarity in the banter, but the heat was gone. Gone, or replaced with something else. Rooster had a feeling the shift occurred somewhere around the time Hangman’s smug voice interrupted his internal plea for a quick, painless death.

Hangman and Rooster try to navigate their new, unfamiliar dynamic after the mission. Unfortunately, the definition of "wingman" makes it a little harder than it needs to be.
