Summary
Sangwon continues to look at Anxin as Anxin watches him. Funnily enough, Sangwon remembers how this moment they are sharing right now feels almost exactly the same way as the moment they shared on New Year’s Eve.
It’s there—the raging animal of want in the pit of his stomach, clawing its way up from the abyss and transforming Sangwon’s insides into a bloody battlefield. It pushes its way up and out, leaving claw marks on its wake as it eyes its prize, the boy standing in front of him.
Maybe this animal thinks Anxin is its maker and its redemption. Maybe not.
To be honest, Sangwon would like to find out, but he is afraid that it will leave blood stains on Anxin’s skin. He definitely does not want to turn the other boy into another crime scene.
