Summary
Wednesday used to believe there was only one thing worse than losing someone to borrowed time:
Loving them.
Until she collides with Enid Sinclair. Or, rather, until Enid’s car collides with her. Literally.
Now the girl with secrets behind her smile and a bomb in her brain owes Wednesday Addams three favors.
That, perhaps, is a fate far worse.

Summary
When Wednesday is summoned to a cursed family estate in Maine for the death and inheritance of Ichabod Addams, she’s ordered to bring an “emotional support person” so she doesn’t accidentally murder another relative.
She brings Enid.
What is supposed to be a week of morbid rituals, inheritance challenges, and quiet emotional suppression becomes a full-scale transformation. Enid, immediately targeted by the Addams family’s “tests,” is poisoned, nearly killed by traps, critically injured, and emotionally dismissed as an outsider. Rather than accept being fragile and protected, she makes a furious decision: if she’s going to love an Addams, she’ll become someone who can survive Addams territory on her own terms.
Over seven days, Enid undergoes an intense “Addamsification”—poison training, trap navigation, psychological trials—supported (and sometimes sabotaged) by Wednesday’s overprotective instincts.
Meanwhile, Wednesday wages war on two fronts: on her scheming relatives for Ichabod’s inheritance, and on her own terror of loving someone exactly as they are.

Summary
At Hogwarts, blood remembers.
Wednesday arrives for her first year already marked by legacy, though she understands only fragments of it. She is the only daughter of an old pure-blood family steeped in secrecy, ritual, and severe expectations, and she is sorted instantly into Slytherin, where she fits perfectly. Around her finger is a dark metal ring set with a flickering stone, pressed into her hand by Morticia and named, simply, an Addams heirloom.
Wednesday doesn’t know it contains one fragment of a soul that should have died centuries ago.
Enid arrives in an entirely different blaze. She is bright, excitable, warm, and embarrassingly easy to read, sorted almost at once into Gryffindor. She belongs to a family known for boldness, charisma, and a long history of public heroism; hidden beneath that reputation is a more dangerous truth.
Neither yet knows that Wednesday descends from Salazar Slytherin, and Enid from Godric Gryffindor.
Neither yet knows that their names have been echoing through magic long before they ever met.
Neither yet knows that one is doomed to kill the other.

Summary
In their final year of college in Boston, Wednesday and Enid are finally stable, in love, and actively planning a shared post-grad future. Then a family crisis forces Enid back to California, and Wednesday is left alone in their apartment.
Until she receives an urgent call from Agnes DeMille, who is grieving, expelled from Nevermore, and effectively homeless.
Wednesday impulsively takes her in, becoming a secret “single” mom to a vanishing 16-year-old outcast.
When Enid returns to Boston, she finds a teenager on her couch, the entire Addams family roosting in their living room, and Wednesday halfway through becoming a better Morticia than she’d like to admit.

Summary
Maybe she was just answering an ancient call, one that every Addams had answered before her. Maybe it all hurt so much because her dislocated heart had to be fixed the old fashioned way, the way Grandmama would have fixed it, with a firm grip and a harsh wrench and twist. Maybe she just overthought everything when it came to Enid. She was categorically not thinking now.
