“I wouldn’t be having them if you—“, Link moved to get himself into a more dignified position than hunched over his leg, “— if you hadn’t gone around cursing every temple in Hyrule”.

Summary
A hundred years into the future and Link’s genes seemed to be quite strong. How many generations would that be? He would most likely no longer be around, but his child may be, and this could be his grandchild. That is of course assuming that Link and his child would live the average lifespan of a normal hylian, but with Link’s genetic differences, however small, that average might not be applicable. That being said, with his name being Link, he could have been named in honor of a late grandparent.
Or: Zelda and her father find themselves a hundred years into the future and meet Link's... grandchild?

Link wakes on the Great Plateau with no memories and no one to guide him.
The wilderness does.
The wind teaches him when storms are coming. The forest teaches him where to sleep. Animals teach him when to run — and when to stay still.
By the time he reaches Kakariko Village, the people he meets begin to notice strange habits.
Instinct comes easier to him than memory.

Summary
Among two daughters, one died and one lived but not long enough, because before there was Link there was Aryll, and before Aryll there was Haruka.
Before there was a hero, there was a sister, and Link has spent his entire life pretending to be good at both.
Link was born a daughter, half-Sheikah on her mother’s side, and lived with her little sister Aryll until pulling the Sword. When he returns a hundred years later, he makes an effort to reconnect with his lost culture in Kakariko Village, which he hoped would involve eating some pickled fish and maybe learning the koto.
Turns out, it involved becoming the shortest general in Sheikah history and hunting the Yiga out of Hyrule, starting with investigating and preparing to kill the newly arrived Chain.
