Simon sighed. “It’s just … I have no idea how it’s going to work with us.” He probably shouldn’t be telling her this, as she was Wilhelm’s closest friend. But it had been sitting on his chest all night. “It’s one thing to be all lovey-dovey and committed to coming out when he’s at a clinic designed to take care of him. But what happens when he’s back out there in the world? Is he going to change his mind? About coming out? About me? About everything? And what if once he does come out he hates the added publicity of being my boyfriend? Like, how is this ever going to work?”
“You two will figure it out,” his sister chimed in.“He knows you’re worth figuring it out for.”
It’s a long bumpy road to their sunlit day. But Wilhelm and Simon are determined to get there.

Wilhelm winces dramatically.
“Don't fucking remind me… I can give you a really unsexy waltz if that's what you want.”
The laughter bubbling from Simon's throat is worth all the embarrassment Wilhelm feels at the memory of tripping over his own feet at some function.
“Okay, new question: is there such a thing as a sexy waltz?” Simon asks and Wilhelm snorts.Or: Wilhelm spots the most gorgeous man in a nightclub. He's wearing a lavender shirt that makes Wilhelm's head spin and imagination run wild. And a smile that does things to his heart he's not quite sure what to make of yet.
