Deku’s eyes crinkle into twin moons as he unfastens the strap around the patient’s arm, and time moves on for the rest of the world but here, it stops for Katsuki.
Falling in love with the one guy he deserves the least in the universe seems like a befitting punishment for someone like him.
Katsuki loses his quirk. One day, his childhood friend visits him at the hospital.

Summary
When their lips press for the first time, a sunflower blooms behind Atsumu’s chest, unfurling its petals to seek as much light as it can from Shouyou’s mouth. Shouyou is sweet like honey, salty like skin, and for a long moment Atsumu forgets there’s already breakfast on the island waiting for them to eat. What he understands, now that he’s gotten a taste, is that nothing would satiate his hunger like the incandescence of the sun. The touch of a god.

Summary
Satoru cups Suguru’s face, brushing a thumb over the plane of his cheek, just drinking it all in, heart full to bursting. It’s a sight that deserves to be immortalised into paint and showcased in an art museum: Suguru’s hair tousled where Satoru had pulled on it, ripples in a midnight ocean; the apples of his cheeks now rosy-red like his ears; lips cherry-swollen; eyes hazy with something Satoru can’t put his finger on, but wishes to devour all the same.

Here, the shape of Kacchan’s thumb finds itself at the corner of Izuku’s mouth, tugging it ever so slightly upwards. And for one heart-stopping second, Izuku feels a shift in the mattress beneath him, then lips, pressing against his temple. A delicate, barely-there touch; something so fleeting it might as well have not happened.

He isn’t sure if that’s the word he’d assign to the other. Katsuki is like a glowing firecracker: bright, breathtaking, and quick to snap. Although, Izuku considers, he can be cute sometimes. Like every morning, when he tosses Izuku’s bento box into his face. Like when he rolls over into Izuku’s space on the bed and knees him in the stomach. Like how the space between his brows gets wrinkled whenever he gets absorbed into one of Izuku’s “shitty chick flicks,” creasing further in defiance when he’s caught.

They're supposed to be learning a new language. Instead, they discover why crushing on someone across the globe is not the best idea.
