“Lan Zhan -,” she says. Pauses.
He waits. She looks so pretty in the amber evening sunlight. Like a postcard.
“I think - you - we, should have - fun, while we’re apart, don’t you?”
Lan Zhan nods, frowning. He definitely thinks that. He would hate for her not to enjoy herself while he’s away.
“You know -,” she says, frowning now. “Experiment -. I -,” she stops, looking a little blank.
Lan Zhan nods, more vigorously, to reassure her. He’s going to have all sorts of new experiences, and he doesn’t want her to feel like she’s just waiting for him to get back, doing nothing. “Of course,” he says.
Lan Zhan goes abroad for a year on a foreign work placement to a farm in East Anglia. He finds a talking parrot, food and tea that does not agree with him, a cacophony of dogs and poultry, and Wei Ying. It's more romantic than it sounds and it's definitely pervier.

Summary

Summary
Jiang Cheng, resident Angry Guy and heir to a conglomerate empire, has never been the apple of his father’s eye. Quashed under the shadow of his brilliant brother, the music prodigy Wei Wuxian, Jiang Cheng sees his chance to turn things around when he is recruited by the All-Stars Lan Talent Hunt. One problem: he can’t sing to save his goddamn life.
As he struggles to develop his nascent singing abilities, Jiang Cheng finds himself sucked into the whirlwind drama of reality TV, helped along by his adoring siblings, his irritable vocal coach Wen Qing, and strangely enough, the unfairly attractive host of the All-Stars Lan Talent Hunt, Lan Xichen. Somewhere in the glare of the stage lights and an unexpected first love, Jiang Cheng stumbles upon the thing he was searching for all along: the courage to dream — and to attempt the impossible.
The first half was completed as part of the 2019 MXTX Bang. The second half has been completed as part of the 2022 MDZS WIP Bang and updates every Saturday.

Summary
Jin Zixuan had a (mostly) simple and smooth sailing life….no scratch that. He definitely would not call his life simple or smooth. Which, kind of happens when you have a father who just can’t look at a beautiful woman and keep his pants on. Which in turn results in a new half sibling appearing every other week.
Anyway, his life wasn’t that weird. He was just a very normal CEO of a very normal company with a very (arguably) normal best friend.
Just when he thought that life couldn’t get weirder.
How exactly is one supposed to react when your ex-fiancée’s very much dead brother suddenly pops out of thin air in your living room on your only day off?
Jin Zixuan does what any sane person would do.
He passes out.
Or, Jiang Cheng gets teleported to an alternate modern universe and chaos ensues.
