Summary
Of course, it's not as easy as Luke said it would be. When is it ever? The building is five floors and the windows are dark so it's probably empty. She's got the key from Luke, but no clear plan. Luckily for Rey, a year working for him means she's good at slipping through the cracks. She's had plenty of practice.
Rey works for Luke doing some less than legal activities. When she gets caught breaking and entering by Luke's wayward nephew, Rey realizes in order to get out of trouble, she will need to improvise.

“Nice bookmark.” Rey tries to engage him. He glances over at her but says nothing. “I watched a lot of Star Trek growing up,” She adds, and he gives her a non-committal nod.
“Are you more of an Enterprise or Voyager fan?” She prompts him again and he looks up, his eyes locking onto hers for maybe the first time since he’s been here.
“We don’t have to do this.” The intensity of his voice startles her, the unwavering hold of his stare making her feel very small and very insignificant.
“Do what?” She asks, hands beginning to vibrate.
“Pretend to get to know each other.”

Summary
I run out to the lobby, grabbing my tablet and try to remain cool in the face of Satan in a Suit.
“Mr. Ren, how can I help you?” He’s taller and more broad than pictures can translate. His black on black suit seems menacing, not a coincidence, I am sure. He seems a bit taken aback, something I am used to in this male-dominated profession. When most of the employees here come for help with their computers or experience network issues, they don’t expect me to know how to solve their problems. Challenging stereotypes one satisfied customer at a time.
He breathes in deep and pauses before he speaks. I think I see the flash of recognition in his eyes but I keep my body still and my face impassive. Yeah, I am an omega, Ren. Get over it.
Rey works in the IT Department for a tech company that is recovering from a recent hostile takeover. Ever at odds with the universe, Rey continues to live against the grain by excelling in a male driven industry and by redefining what it means to be omega.

Rey is a new Auror and skilled Legilimens who is asked to join a group of Aurors at the MACUSA to help fight the growing threat of pro-pureblood extremism. Unfortunately for Rey, Ben Solo is a master of Occlumency and isn't impressed with Rey's snooping skills.
“It’s nice to meet you,” I say with a small smile, unable to stop the shiver that runs through me. I can practically feel the waves of his manufactured void pulsing towards me.
“Likewise.” He returns, and at his voice, I fall into a flash of a memory, harrowing red walls and...loneliness. It disappears in an instant.
I press against the table, a small hitch in my breath is all that betrays me, but his glare positively pierces through my skin. I look away, and the heat of his eyes is unbearable. -

After Kylo Ren defects to the light, Rey must work alongside her (not quite) enemy-turned-copilot.
The caves aren’t at all what I was expecting. There are holes everywhere in the rock so quite a lot of sunlight beats through. It makes it look a lot less intimidating and I feel my shoulders relax as we walk through narrow tunnels. He has to duck often, which makes me smirk - more than once I feel him through the force bite back with something along the lines of, “I wouldn’t laugh too hard if I were you.”
I smile anyways.
As we walk deeper, the temperature drops and my body shivers. He turns back and glances at me, the question thrumming through the bond. “Is everything alright?”
“I’m just cold.” I think quickly.
“I’m just checking.” He thinks just as quick.

"I have nothing to hide from you anymore, Supreme Leader." He casts a look at me, and I'm hit with a wave of defiance. Of arrogance and hesitation. Bravado and embarrassment. I decide not to comment on this particular insight into his emotional duality. He finds my eyes and leans forward.
