Summary

Summary
Lan Wangji did not hate anyone.
Hate was a strong, unnecessary emotion that only served to hurt. There was no point in indulging an emotion like that.
This was logical.
But feelings are not logical. And Wei Ying had...irritated him, from the first day he’d transferred to Wangji’s school. And somehow, he was the one person on the planet he couldn’t just ignore and forget about. Wei Ying’s presence in his life did not falter.
It made something fierce and unyielding rise up in his chest. Whatever the hell it was, it was bitter. Too much. Overwhelming in a way that doesn’t make sense, like the sound of a fan while you’re trying to sleep. And just like his problem with fans, nobody else seemed to understand.
