Summary
He ends up making a quick cup of green tea. Hux does look like he needs something in his life that isn’t completely dark, and Poe thinks something other than black tea is a great way to start. He mutters a quick fire spell.
The sigil he draws in the air ends up looking wonky. Mostly weird, with a twirl at the end, and Poe sticks out his tongue on instinct as Hux tells him it looks nothing like the example picture in their books.
“It works, doesn’t it?” He grins cheekily, pouring a cup of his self-made tea. “No complaining if it works, Hugs. That’s what life is like sometimes.”

Poe would be lying if he said the only reason he wants Hux to live through this is because he needs information on the fallen First Order in order for peace to return to the galaxy.
Hux would be lying if he said there's nothing worth living for.
It would easier if they lied.
