Summary
“I’m not sure how a lowly human like you called me, but here I am,” His voice is deep, but not gruff or harsh like he was expecting. Porsche doesn’t have many preconceptions about demons as a whole, but everything he holds is being completely turned upside down and thrown out the window.
“Who are you?” Porsche croaks out, somehow finding his voice.
The demon’s eyes sharpen as he speaks, the slitted black pupils contracting and opening again like a cat’s. It’s just as fascinating as it is unnerving.
“You’re the one that called my name,” He shrugs, gesturing around the room flippantly.
"Anakinn," Porsche says, the name rolling off his tongue smoothly. "You're Anakinn."

Summary
“You look really good today,” Apo comments a little too casually.
Mile doesn’t reply immediately, side-eyeing him before quickly focusing back on the road, hands tightening around the steering wheel. It’s not exactly been a secret that he’d felt that way - he could feel Apo’s eyes on him the whole time during the recording, lingering and watching, scanning up and down unblinkingly with interest as he languidly leaned against the counter. Apo is doing the same now, gaze burning hot as his eyes trail across his body, eyelids hooded with lips curved up at the corners like he’s enjoying every second of it.
“We still have to go out later,” Mile reminds him, voice terse because he already knows where this is heading.

“I’m always saying nice things to you,” Chat replies, arching an eyebrow. One of his cheeks is beginning to dimple, the start of another smile threatening to take over his face.
Khem scoffs, “Hardly.”
“Would it help if I also told you that you look just as beautiful as the way you dance?”
Khem’s jaw snaps shut, teeth clicking together loudly. He knows the redness on his cheeks can’t be missed this time, not when his skin burns with it, flushing all the way up to the tips of his ears and down his neck.
“I… am not dressed for a dance, though.”
“You don’t need to be,” Chat replies sincerely, voice low as if he’s telling Khem a secret to keep between them.

“Everyone, get out.”
The temperature in the room suddenly drops, everything turning still at the sound of Kinn’s voice ringing out, stopping everyone dead in their tracks and slicing right through to them. It’s so silent that you could hear a pin drop, nobody daring to make a move just yet.
“Didn’t you all hear me? Out!” Kinn shouts, nostrils flaring and voice devoid of any of the previous calm he had.
Everyone goes into motion then, even Chan who takes the hint and goes to join the crowd in leaving the gym. Porsche straightens himself up, still clutching over the left side of his chest as he joins the rest in filing out through the doors.
“Not you, Porsche. You stay here.”

Summary

That knowledge is tested when he's sent on an assignment with Mo Ran to exorcise a lust-fuelled ghost gone mad.
“You’re fucking kidding me,” Mo Ran swears as his eyes sweep over the two long gashes along Chu Wanning’s side, his face complicated. “What, you were just going to rinse this off?”
“I can take care of myself,” Chu Wanning tries, though he catches a glimpse of Mo Ran’s hands and finds himself craving their touch. As if reading his mind, Mo Ran reaches forward with his other hand, his fingertips brushing the skin right beside the claw marks.
To his utter mortification, Chu Wanning lets out a small but audible whine. Mo Ran’s fingers pause and Chu Wanning hopes whatever poison must be seeping through his bloodstream, kills him.

Saliva fills his mouth. His stomach churns now as it did back then, trepidation warring with a longing so sudden and fierce that Dan Heng can’t think of anything else. This feeling—it can’t be anything else.
But then Jing Yuan says, “It’s been a long time, old friend”—and the candlelight in Dan Heng’s chest hisses out.

“So you need a game plan,” Pela says to Gepard, her voice dropping down into a whisper.
“I do?” He asks instead, belatedly realizing it’s pointless to argue with her at this point.
Pela nods, procuring a worn notebook from her purse. She opens it up to a blank page, quickly scrawling in big, bold letters the words ‘Operation: Sampard’.
Gepard blinks. “Sampard?”
“It’s your ship name,” Pela replies with an exceptional understanding of the vast world of fiction, waving a dismissive hand at Serval’s widening grin and Gepard’s clueless expression. “Don’t worry about it.”

Or alternatively, Serval and Pela come up with a plan for Gepard to throw Sampo off his game by kissing him stupid.

In a series of truly unfortunate events, Sampo kisses Gepard. This wouldn't usually be a big deal, except it's Sampo, and Gepard totally panics about it. Despite his resistance and insistence on how it's a mistake, Gepard still finds himself drawn in.
