Summary
Ben woke up with a start. His gaze flickered around the room as he sat up. He felt groggy and bone-tired. Ben's eyes landed on the alarm clock next to the bed. The numbers 8:30 shone on the device. Below it, the date read 09/15/2007. He pursed his lips. That was yesterday's date, he remembered. September 15th was the day Benjamin Linus killed John Locke. Maybe that was just some very, very vivid dream. Surely.
or,
Ben wakes up reliving the same day over, and over, and over.

Summary
Faraday runs a nervous hand through his hair and exhales slowly. “You’ll either locate your constant enough times that your consciousness stabilizes…or you won’t.”
“And what happens if I don’t?” Ben asks, although he already knows the answer.
For his part, Faraday looks genuinely sorry. “Then you’re going to die.”
or
Ben gets a glimpse of all the things that could've been.
