Summary
The kingdom of Mondstat has been without a ruler since Varka disappeared. His daughter and heir, Jean, is unable to be appointed in his stead due to the lack of evidence regarding his assumed death. Without anyone on the throne, the kingdom is left in shambles. Their only peace is the second-in-line princess, Barbara. Her charming voice and personality soothes their worries, and captures the attention of the soon-to-be knight, Noelle. However, a greater threat presents itself when a mythical dragon murders a swordsmith. Without proper rule, Mondstat will fall under the pressure of the unknown. To face the threat, the princesses have to find out where such a being came from and the organization behind it, while also dealing with personal problems of their own.
