Tossing and turning at night, worrying about a man who doesn’t think of him as anything more than an acquaintance is a downright demeaning way to live, he inherently knows this. It doesn’t stop him from losing sleep over whether or not Mark has already moved onto the next big thing.
It doesn’t hurt any less when he watches Mark eat breakfast across the table the following morning, never losing eye-contact with his phone.

wow JUST WOWWW!!! one of the best fics i've read in a LONG LONG TIME. hyuck and mark are both so perfectly flawed in this like GAWD WHEN UR SO IN LOVE THAT YOU TURN STUPID FRRRR!!! and im really appreciative of how this was mostly told in hyuck's pov bcs WHEW the extent of his love would not have been felt thru mark's pov at all 😭. ANYWAYS! this fic had me screaming from giddiness and frustration and i loved every single moment of it! This should be a plot for a summer movie its just tew good. He holds himself with that same easy, athletic grace. His blonde dye job, which Donghyuck had seen on his Instagram a few months ago, is growing out at the roots. He’s wearing a windbreaker and jean shorts, and when Donghyuck looks at the strong, built lines of Mark’s legs, he wishes the meteor would hurry it up.

There’s silence on the other end of the phone.
