    Summary

With a stage name like Wendy Wolfe, it only made sense to everyone around her that the Mind Flayer's lead guitarist would be the hot, smoke bomb of a star that Hollywood agencies dreamed of. Up close she made less sense. Guitar skills aside, big money business snakes found no fruit in leading her with a tether of drugs and debt. Her band mates were no different. Wendy made sure of it. She was proud of it.

Post big break, their North American tour was going off without a hitch until the groupie that passed through under her nose made a big name for himself amongst the buses.

His presence cut through the dry night air like the high-pitched squeal of her guitar. A stomach flipping whine of metal and electricity that rang out over the desert, commanding attention with a foreboding bass line buried somewhere deep within her body.

The bitten fret of a man met her eyes across the dusty park grass and Wendy knew he was bad news. Terrible, awful, dangerous news.

Gale never expected that his artfully constructed, exhaustively thought-over confession would be construed as some kind of bit. Myfanwy never expected to get an artfully constructed, exhaustively thought-over confession. Clearly there's a conversation that needs to be had.

    Summary

“I’m sorry,” you whisper, “I wanted to ask you a question but found you passed out instead.”

The look of pure adoration in your eyes and smile made his heart thump right out of his chest as his body was encased with a soft warm feeling. This feeling blooming in his chest, he hadn’t felt in so long. Not since he first met Mystra…and that was ages ago.

“Oh,” Gale mumbled out as he rubbed his eyes, his voice deep and gravelly in sleep. “I apologize. I can answer your question now, my dear.”

(OR: You wanted to ask Gale a question, but found him asleep instead)
