Summary
Familiars, or dæmons, have long been a subject of research in several fields of study; biology, theology, physics, and others. In order to understand the familiar, and ourselves better, we have attempted to look at the familiar as a whole; the facts we know, and the many roles they play in our lives. As the terminology differs around the world, in this paper the more colloquial term “familiar” will be used.
OR, imagining an alternate universe with soulmates and familiars through snippets from the lives of Stray Kids.

Summary
The train comes to a stop, the doors ping open. No passengers enter or exit. The doors ping to a close. The train moves on.
Jisung starts keeping a list of the stations he passes by, writing them down in his notebook. He needs something to do, and that seems to be just about the only thing he can do.
OR, Jisung gets stuck on a train passing through infinite stations, alone and more desperate by the day until one day there is someone else. Another passenger enters the train.

Summary
Minho is exhausted, at the end of his rope after hundreds of disappointing auditions, failures and cruel comments and he just wants to sleep. Then a stranger appears, beckons him closer and it just feels so, so good to be held, even if just for a moment.
Or: Minho is tired and Jisung is the worst devil there has ever been, and just wants to help.

It’s Pete who explains, the next morning over breakfast, because of course the news has spread all over the compound. “Haven’t you ever watched a mob movie?” he asks Porsche, gesticulating with a spoon. “They have all the money they could ever need, but they can never get respectability. The old-money types look down on them. The new-money types take their bribes, but they don’t let them into the inner circle. This is public relations.”
“A kinder, gentler mob?” Porsche laughs. “Come on.”
“They’ll use it to look nonthreatening, highlight the legitimate businesses, that sort of thing,” Pete says. He lowers his voice. “Everyone knows the Theerapanyakuls are dirty, but if they’re on television, how dirty can they be, right? And… I don’t know, but Khun Korn is strange about Khun Kinn’s love life. Maybe he’s trying to keep him in line somehow.”

Summary
Whoever told Buck that excessively talking and narrating things to his baby would aid in her cognitive development is a bitch.
“I have to go to work today, so you’re gonna hang out with your Auntie Maddie because she has the day off, and then tomorrow morning after my shift you and I are gonna get breakfast with Eddie, so I’m packing your pink dress with the blue flowers because I think it’s very breakfasty. That’s not a word, though. Sometimes it’s okay to make up words for emphasis, but not all the time, okay?”
Evie thinks her dad is the most fascinating thing in the world and he would like to keep it that way, thank you very much. She stares and smiles at him while he talks, reacts to certain words like she’s starting to understand what they mean, claps her hands together when he says the names of her favorite people, it’s awesome.
However, Buck seems to have made one very grave mistake and in her very first act of spite against her dad, Evie will not let him live it down.
"Eddie!"
Or, narrating his entire life to his daughter started as a good idea until she decided to use her first word to out Buck’s big dumb crush on his best friend.
