Why can’t Alhaitham just do the house chores if Kaveh is going to complain every time he puts something on the kitchen counter? Does Kaveh feel bad if Alhaitham does housework, or doesn’t he? “You know me,” says Alhaitham slowly, and looks up to see Kaveh tying an apron tight around the small of his waist. Kaveh looks back over his shoulder, as if to check that Alhaitham is watching. “I only do anything if it suits my interests,” says Alhaitham.
