Summary
Viktor engages in a nightly ritual in front of the mirror in his bathroom. He pulls out an ever-growing mental checklist of everything he lacks and documents the wrongness of his body.
A face that is too sharp, too skinny. Eyes that pop from his skull, lined with dark bruises. Hideous moles that litter his face, his body, like someone dropped splatters of ink all over him and never bothered to wash them off.
Each imperfection reminds him of wrongly written words on pages, each incorrect word documenting failure. It is a curse; his body is the one thing that controls every part of Viktor’s life, but the one thing Viktor himself cannot control.
Viktor stares at himself in the mirror, cataloguing his failures, and dresses himself. These are the routine acts of violence that he does to himself that allows Viktor, whatever is left of him, to develop over on the other side.

Jayce stopped a few respectful feet away from their circle. He held something in his hand. A single, perfect twilight bloom, its petals a deep, velvety purple that seemed to absorb the firelight. It was a rare flower, one that only grew in high, sunny clearings.
He cleared his throat, the sound a low, nervous rumble. “I... My name is Jayce” he began, his voice slightly hoarse. He extended the flower, a tremble in his large, calloused fingers. “And I would be honored… if you would accept this. And… and my courtship.”
Viktor’s mind went blank. He opened his mouth to politely, gently, refuse. To let this magnificent bull down easy so he could find a mate worthy of him. But the words wouldn’t come. All he could see was the earnest hope in Jayce’s eyes, the nervous tremble in the hand holding the flower. This was was insane. He didn't want this. He has always been better off on his own.
But… what if?
What if, for once, he didn’t overthink it? What if he reached out and took the ridiculous, beautiful offering? What if he allowed himself, just for a little while, to feel the warmth of that gaze, to bask in the impossible notion that someone like Jayce could want someone like him?Series

They seek shelter in Viktor's old flat and for the first time are alone with themselves and everything that has happened. They take the opportunity to finally get to know each other on their new level of brotherly bro love.aka they fuck nasty in all sorts of different forms in the astral plane, where Viktor takes Jayce and shows him what's possible.
Note: Jayce is mainly a service top and Viktor a power bottom, but the two swap roles briefly. Viktor is male with a penis in most forms, but will also be seen as trans masc later on
