Paul doesn't want to think it, doesn't want to picture it but there it is, and he’s red and warm and uncomfortable and George is tilting his head at him, asking him what's wrong, and Paul chokes on his tongue, doesn’t know what to say. Doesn't know what is wrong.
Doesn't know what's wrong with him.
It's not something he's supposed to want. It's not something anyone is ever supposed to want. George Martin is like a father to him. Is old enough to be his father, nearly, by just a few years. If he’d had Paul young.
But Paul wants him. Paul wants him all the same.

It doesn’t take much watching at all before he realizes that John needs Paul, and that he’s terrified that he’s going to lose him. And Paul is completely oblivious to it.
