Summary
Zoro's grief wasn't tears; it was stubborn refusal. He knew the truth, but still rejected it.
He still left a clean bento box in his bag every morning, waiting for the daily return note from the cook he loved. He avoided walking a different route to class, convinced that if he followed their old route, Sanji would be there, late but yelling an insult. And the Roronoa Zoro was simply too proud and too loyal to stop waiting for the transfer student to come back and call him marimo one last time.
