Dejectedly, Hoseok leaned up against the cool ceramic of the closest mug, letting the beam of light shining through the window warm him. If only he were one of those scary fae-type fairies, then he could cause some real damage. Like maybe he could make Namjoon super old, or turn him into a beetle, or something like that. But no, he had to be cute, and powerless. He might as well have been a butterfly.

Summary
It felt poetic, for Namjoon's self-imposed exile to be so hackneyed and dramatic. He was, after all, a cliché: a vampire tortured by guilt at having to kill to survive, but nevertheless going through with it. So he had decided to lean into the stereotype of it all, and had bought himself a fucking castle to haunt.

Namjoon is a vampire who runs a museum, and Hoseok is a human who works in the museum cafe. They both have secrets, and Namjoon is sick and tired of his. Maybe Hoseok can help.
