Her ahead darts up to look at them, watching their frustration take over.
"You left, Tai, you fucking left, and that's fine, it is, I'm not gonna... You left. And I need things, Tai. I need... you made me need this. Fuck."
They sit back down again. "You don't get to come here and get upset about how I manage live without you. You're telling me you haven't done anything? With anyone?"
She bites her lip to stop from crying, this is not how she wanted this to go. "I... tried. But I couldn't- it wasn't the same."
They sit in that truth, that they both can't live without the other. Tai hears a soft voice. Almost a whisper.
"Come here."
Tai comes back from Howard for thanksgiving break, and she hears a rumor about Van that she has to confirm.
