Summary
A sequel to my novelization of Undertale. Reading that fic isn't strictly necessary so long as you've played the Pacifist Route of Undertale though this fic will occasionally reference moments I added in my previous fic. The most important thing to know is that Chara exists as an essence sharing Frisk's body and has since Frisk fell underground. Lines in italics and in quotes are Chara talking (which only Frisk can hear). Lines in italics without quotes are Chara's private thoughts.
For the purpose of this fic, Mount Ebott exists in the fictional island nation of Emerland, located about halfway in between Ireland and Iceland.
Typically updates every Sunday (formerly updated on Mondays).

Summary
This is a fanmade novelization of Undertale focusing on fleshing out Frisk and Chara as characters. It uses the Narrachara theory which states that Chara's essence follows Frisk in all routes and that the lines from the game's narrator are in fact said by Chara. The fic will be canon compliant but will expand on Chara and Frisk's backstory with original elements not from the game. Constructive criticism is welcome. New Chapters every Saturday (typically)

Chara narrates how they accompany Frisk from a Genocide Run to a truly happy ending. The power to reset timelines is of course helpful for that, but this alone won't be enough to make amends for their deeds.

Frisk climbs a mountain and inadvertently awakens an ancient terror sleeping beneath the flowerbed they land on when they fall. If by "ancient terror" one assumes the less-popular definition of "annoying narrator-ghost princet of monsterkind who is now, unfortunately, permanently stuck in their head."
Chara doesn't want to be awake. They especially don't want to be helpless in the back of a bloodthirsty human's head, watching them ruin the only home they've ever known with no power other than their voice to fight back with. Luckily for them, that's not what's happening at all. Unluckily for them, they may have to re-evaluate a few things about their worldview. Which, for someone as set in their ways as them, is not an easy thing to do.
(Then there's the matter of the weird flower, Frisk's unusual powers, and the Longest of Long Days the underground has ever seen.)Chara & Frisk no player AU true pacifist. Completed!
