Summary
“I’m gonna give you to the count of 200 to run as far away as you can.”
Xeno’s eyes dart from Stanley to the gun to other dark corners of the cabin. He struggles to steel himself for action as his brain yet marinates in lust. They had agreed: Xeno gets whatever mercies Stanley gives him. His pockets, laden as they are, feel far too light.
“…and then?”
“And then…” Stanley glances to the side for a moment before giving the tiniest shrug and that placid, shark-like gaze returns to Xeno, “Don’t let me catch ya.”
“I —”
“One.”

Summary
Driving the motorcycle was supposed to help with Gen’s nerves. In an ideal world, Senku would have left Gen behind to help with Corn City. He was the best person to help with the initial integration, and then he’d be invaluable when they passed Dunbar’s number and had to do actual city building. There was nobody to negotiate with, he’d already given Senku as much information as he could ever want about the psychological profiles of their perusers, and being outdone in all the physical labor they were doing was depressing for him. Senku wanted to give him something he could do besides worrying over their lack of contingency plans that Gen was good at doing, so he wanted Gen to drive the motorcycle with Senku behind him.
Then Gen hurt his arm. It wasn’t too serious, but it still hurt bad enough to make him scream. Senku would have to drive.
Except that was a lie. Xeno’s eyes were locked onto whatever Gen was doing behind Senku, and he looked scared. For the first time since Senku was reunited with his former mentor, the man was visibly concerned. It made Senku take a deep breath and remember all the promises and history between him and Gen.
They would march into hell together. That was the deal.

Summary
A petrified world leaves Gen Asagiri alone among statues of friends and foes, wrapped in absolute silence. With no time, no company, and no respite, each day becomes a challenge: finding food, improvising shelter, and protecting what remains of those he loves.
But an unexpected secret grows within him: a life that depends entirely on him. With no guidance and no help, Gen faces a solitary pregnancy, the arrival of his child, and the struggle to survive while nature takes its course around a world frozen in stone.
Amid fear, exhaustion, and fleeting moments of fragile hope, Gen learns to move, to decide, and to hold on to what the petrification left behind—facing every obstacle with the only resources he has left: his wit and his resolve.
