    Raph was always insistent that they wash all of the parts of their bodies when they were kids and at the time, Donnie understood more than anyone why that was so important to their health. They lived in the sewers and didn’t always wear clothing or shoes when they would play and roughhouse. It was only a matter of time before one caught a disease or an infection, and they all had the scars to prove it. But, upon realising that all of his brothers were similarly equipped with a cloaca beneath their tails, Raph insisted they keep themselves clean there too. It made sense, considering what came out of it.

    But it wasn’t until Donnie hit the wretched stages of late puberty that he realised what else came out of it.
