Then she let her eyes drift to Halbrand, with his longer, auburn hair and scruffy jaw, and the same combination from earlier: jeans and a t-shirt. He looked like he always did, slightly unkempt compared to her polished husband. And yet, she couldn’t seem to stop herself from staring as he talked with his broad hands, smiling and gesturing with his beer bottle to some comment of Celeborn's. Before she could stifle and strangle the thought, it was impossible not to wonder what it would feel like to be with him.
A dystopian world of medications, propaganda, and politicians conspire to alter the landscape of alpha, beta, and omega dynamics. Best friends Galadriel and Halbrand are caught in the middle but can't seem to resist the biology that demands they be together. And when it comes down to it, neither of them really wants to.
