Now that she is an Empress candidate (despite not being of royal blood) her proud mother does everything she can to mold Mafuyu into the Flawless Ruler she has yet to become. Mafuyu accepts the weight of work and responsibilities entrusted to her. She is convinced she must see this all through because it is her duty, until a totally legit luggage boy acts in every way against this Order.

The Church has demilitarised, the Inquisition (what remains of it) has been relegated to lonely lighthouses by the sea, and the monsters are no more. The world has moved on, and Irene has been left behind.
